Affording Oakland Christian School

It is our desire to make a quality, Christian education accessible to as many families as possible. While investing in a  Christian education for your child is a decision you will never regret, we also acknowledge and understand the financial commitment this entails for families.

We offer financial aid to families who are able to contribute a substantial amount towards tuition but are unable to afford the full cost. Financial-aid awards are available to qualifying families with students in Y5 through 12th grade on a year-by-year basis. A specified amount of aid is set aside each year depending on enrollment, funding, and budget requirements. All awards are kept completely confidential.

FACTS Grant & Aid

FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment (FGAA) is a need-based assessment service designed to help identify the financial needs of our families. FACTS provides Trinity Oaks a need-based financial aid analysis service which ensures that our process for establishing financial need adheres to nationally established standards of best practice.

FGAA provides a need-based financial aid analysis service which includes a recommendation of what a family should reasonably contribute toward tuition. All information from FGAA is kept strictly confidential. The information supplied to FGAA by you, the applicant, and the results of FGAA analysis is then reviewed by OCS to determine the financial awards to be granted. Once the process is completed, financial aid award letters will be sent to families.

As a reminder, you must reapply for financial assistance each year.

Financial Aid Application Process

The following are required in order for FACTS to process your application:

  • Copies of your most recent tax return, including all schedules.
  • Copies of your W-2’s for both applicant and co-applicant.
  • $35 application fee.

Because financial aid funds are limited and the demand is high, late filing of applications and supporting documentation may result in non-renewal of a financial aid award. Financial aid awards are not considered final until all tax returns and W-2’s have been received and verified by FACTS.
