Oakland Christian School offers a variety of summer day camps.  This year's non-athletic camps will range from preschool - 6th grade.  All camps are available to OCS students on a first come, first serve basis. *Parents are required to register and pay before the camp.  Each camp has a minimum number of campers. If registration does not reach that number two weeks prior to the event, it will be canceled and you will be notified.  


Non-Athletic Camp Offerings:

Engineering Camp June 19-23, 9am-3pm for 4th-6th Grade, $220.00
Upcoming 4th-6th graders will put their heads together to solve engineering puzzles, build creative solutions to engineering problems, take a field trip, and program Lego robots. Previous engineering experience is not required. This full week of science fun includes the cost of consumable materials, admission to our field trip, a t-shirt souvenir, and academic tutoring in science.

Imaginarium Science Camp July 26-29, 9am-noon for Preschool - Kindergarten, $120.00
3 year-old preschool- Kindergarten students will explore various science and math concepts while utilizing our imagination, curiosity, and inquiry skills. Every day we will engage in hands-on activities that will help us gain a better understanding of the world around us. Our little scientists will become creative thinkers, problem solvers, and inquirers throughout the week. This camp will have activities indoors and outdoors so please wear comfortable shoes and bring a water bottle each day. Meet Mrs. Mendenhall in the elementary lobby on the first day! 

Technology Camp June 28-30, 9am-3pm for 3rd-6th Grade, $120.00
Girls and boys going into grades 3rd-6th will enjoy Technology Camp! 3 days PACKED full of learning and fun! We will spend 2 days filming, learning, laughing and preparing for our BIG trip to Apple Camp (to Somerset Mall on OCS school bus) a 3-hour workshop at the Apple Store on Friday morning. We will enjoy lunch at the mall and then head to the BUILD-A-BEAR store as we continue to enjoy, build memories, use our creativity and end our movie making experience. Meet your elementary friends at 9am in the elementary lobby on the first day of camp.
Spanish Immersion Language Camp July 10-14, 9am-noon for kindergarten-5th Grade, $120.00
Girls and Boys (going into grades K-5th) will enjoy Spanish Camp. Spanish Language Camp is a great opportunity to practice and develop the Spanish language. Language learning happens naturally through games, music, stories, art and crafts. All activities take place in a fun environment - in Spanish! Bring a snack and meet Maestra Barajas in the elementary lobby on the first day.
Explore! Science Camp July 10-14, 9am-noon for 1st-3rd Grade, $120.00
Boys and girls going into grades 1- 3 please join us while we explore and learn about God’s creation through hands-on discovery and observation. Girls and Boys will experiment with fascinating materials, explore nature, and get messy (bring an art shirt!), experiencing what it is like to study the world around us, just like scientists! Please bring a snack and meet Mrs. Knutson in the elementary lobby on the first day.
Wave Pool-Back to School Party August 11 - all ages! FREE.
Meet OCS (all ages welcome) at the Waterford Oaks Waterpark. The Park is open 11am-7pm. Bring your lunch, meet new friends, ride a waterside and/or catch a wave! It is $9 per person to enter the waterpark. The Park is located at: 1702 Scott Lake Road Waterford, MI 48328. For more information on the waterpark go to http://www.destinationoakland.com Gather your friends for guaranteed fun. Lets take the ride together! (No registration necessary, but let us know if you are coming! You must have an adult supervisor) After arriving look for OCS sign to find your friends!
