The sun has risen on your final year at OCS, and although graduation may feel far away right now, this year will pass more quickly than you think. There is a lot to look forward to, and we hope you'll make the most of every opportunity, every milestone, and every moment along the way.
This page will be your go-to place for everything related to senior year, including important dates, resources, and announcements. We'll be updating it throughout the year, so be sure to check back often. You'll also find many resources in your Class of 2027 Schoology group.
The sun will set on your K–12 journey before you know it. Cherish this season, Class of 2027, and remember the people, places, and experiences that have been part of your story.

Senior Brag Sheet for Recommendations
The Senior Brag Sheet helps your teachers and academic advisor write personalized, detailed letters of recommendation for college applications and scholarships. The more they know about your experiences, accomplishments, and goals, the stronger and more specific their recommendations can be.

How to Complete Your Brag Sheet
- Open the Senior Brag Sheet HERE.
- Make a copy of the document to your own Google Drive account (File > Make a copy).
- Complete the sections that are relevant to you. The Brag Sheet is intentionally comprehensive so students from all backgrounds and interests have an opportunity to share what makes them unique. You do not need to complete every section. Feel free to skip questions that don't apply to you and spend more time on the areas that best reflect your experiences and strengths.
- When you are finished, share your completed copy with Mrs. Kimosh at akimosh@oaklandchristian.com.
Mrs. Kimosh will use your Brag Sheet to write your counselor letter of recommendation and will share it with the teachers you have requested to write recommendation letters.
FAFSA
The 2027–28 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will be available by October 1, 2026. Families are encouraged to complete the FAFSA each year, as the information provided may be used to determine eligibility for a variety of federal, state, and college-based financial assistance and, at some colleges, certain scholarships.
