  • Save the Date - Lancers LifeBuilders

    Our Annual Lancer LifeBuilders Celebration is a fundraising event in which we celebrate the generosity of our community and friends who come together to help build the campus, support the faculty, and provide the programs that make our school exceptional. We invite you to join us on Saturday, April 13th as we celebrate the legacy of OCS throughout the decades and the exciting vision for our future! It's sure to be a wonderful evening of community and fun!

  • Upcoming Drama Production

    Save the date! April, 19, 20, and 21, Oakland Christian School Drama is back for another exciting year with Peter/Wendy! Come see Neverland like never before, complete with mermaids, pirates, fairies, plenty of happy thoughts, and audience participation—we can’t do it without you! We look forward to seeing you there! Fun for the whole family—all ages and all costumes welcome!

  • PTF Sports Court Fundraiser

    Thank you to those who helped our PTF raise $20,000 with the Fun Run at the beginning of the school year! They are raising another $14,000 for an all-inclusive Sports Court featuring pickle ball, volleyball, basketball, four square, an upgraded gaga pit, and more! Donations of any amount have an incredible impact. You can also purchase a family sponsorship for $500 that includes a plaque or brick with your name on the court! Thank you, in advance, for your contribution and partnership towards providing our students of all ages opportunities for outdoor fun, entertainment, and exercise!

  • Daddy Daughter Dance

    Calling all Oakland Christian School dads and daughters! Save the date for “A VIP Event” at Petruzzello's Banquet and Conference Center, 6950 Rochester Rd, Troy, MI 48085, on Saturday, March 9th at 5:00 - 9:00 PM. Get ready to dance the night away and make cherished memories! Tickets are available for purchase until March 1st at  $35 each ticket. There will be no ticket sales at the door.

    A dinner buffet, dessert, DJ, photo booth, and a keepsake photo to remind you of your special date are all included! The dinner buffet starts promptly at 6 PM. Uncles, Grandpas, or special guests are welcome!

    Click HERE to donate items to the Daddy Daughter Dance basket raffle! This is a fun giveaway opportunity the PTF provides each student when they arrive at the dance. Students at no additional cost, will receive one ticket to put into the raffle basket they are hoping to win!

  • Kroger Community Rewards

    Oakland Christian's PTF has joined with Kroger as a Community Rewards Partner. Each time you use your registered Kroger card, Kroger will donate a portion of your bill to the OCS PTF, with no cost to you! Click HERE to register your card and select Oakland Christian School.   • 8th Grade Trip to D.C. Bake Sale

    The 8th-grade class is organizing a fundraising initiative to offset the expenses associated with their upcoming educational trip to Washington, D.C. The students will be offering freshly baked cinnamon rolls and cookies for sale every Friday through March 1st during lunch hours, catering to 3rd-5th grade, Middle School, and High School. Please pre-pay for your student's treats HERE.

  • OCS Family Skate Night

    Our next Family Fun Night is February 22 from 6:30-8:30 PM at the Rolladium.  Join us for an evening of skating, family-friendly music, games, a snack bar, and an arcade. 

    $7 per skater includes skate rental. Inline skates are an additional $5. You may bring your own skates if you prefer!

  • Want an unforgettable summer experience for your child? Look no further! OCS Summer Camps cover everything from sports to art, allowing children to explore their interests and try new things. Our camps provide a safe and fun environment for children to learn, grow, and make new friends. Camp times are from 9 AM - 3 PM. Camps are available for all age groups. Childcare is available before and after all camps.

  • Peer Tutoring is now available for all students from 3:20-3:50 PM, Monday-Friday, for $10 per half hour session. Our peer tutors are secondary students who have completed the peer tutoring orientation. The peer tutoring program includes adult supervision during the tutoring sessions.

    Use the following LINK to sign up for up to 4 tutoring sessions a week. Once you register, you will receive a personalized email with the tutor's name, start date, day(s) of the week your student will be in tutoring, and protocol for any necessary cancellations.   • There are so many ways for families to get involved and make a difference at  Oakland Christian School. Parental efforts support the energies of the faculty and staff and enable them to keep their focus on the quality of our educational program. Volunteering also gives your family a way to become more fully connected in the school community and helps your child see your commitment to quality education. Oakland Christian requires that each family contribute 20 service hours per year. For more information on opportunities for service and on recording your hours, click HERE.

  • Our Family Ambassador Network (F.A.N.) is designed to create a network of dedicated parents who are willing to share their experiences with prospective families, serve as a resource for new families, and help us build a stronger community. You can learn more about our F.A.N. program HERE.

    There are 2 easy ways to participate and earn family service hours:

    1. Help us bring the school to life! Use the Google form below to answer questions about your OCS experience and share a family photo for the website or social media.   Share Your Story
    2. Help us maintain up-to-date and abundant reviews across all our review platforms. We've made it easy for you with a Sign-up Genius to schedule 2 -3 reviews on various sites over the next several months. Elementary News and Events

  • We are looking for 2 parent helpers every day to assist the staff with lunch supervision in the lunchroom from 12:30-1:30pm. Parents are invited to sign up for a few dates that they are available to help or sign up as a weekly helper. Please visit this link to sign up for dates that work for your schedule.     All hours served will count toward your family service hour requirements. 
     

Middle School News and Events

  • Middle School Night Out

    Middle School Night Out will be held Friday, March 8, from 5:30 - 8:00 PM! Students will take over the school for a night filled with games, fellowship, and FUN!

    Drop-Off students to the elementary lobby at 5:30 pm. (All students in the building after 3:30 pm will be sent to OMEGA until the event start time.) This is a volunteer parent-chaperoned activity. Taco dinner, snacks, and desserts are available.
    Pick-Up in the elementary lobby at 8:00 PM. A parent must come inside for pickup. Students will not be released to the parking lot. 
    Event Fee: $10 paid through SQUARE by following the link provided after completing and submitting the Permission Slip Google Form.

High School News and Events

  • ACT Prep Opportunity

    High School Junior families who are interested in ACT prep, please take a look at this test prep opportunity being provided by OCS staff and on-site HERE.

    The flyer contains information about the 8 week ACT prep sessions starting February 15 through April 4, details about registration, as well as who to contact with questions.
