Tuition Assistance

Affording an Oakland Christian education is possible—and we’re here to help.

We know that choosing a private, Christian education is a meaningful investment in your child’s future. We also understand that for many families, affordability is a key part of that decision. That’s why Oakland Christian School offers need-based tuition assistance for students entering Junior Kindergarten through 12th grade.

Funded by OCS, for OCS Families

All tuition assistance awards come directly from Oakland Christian’s own funds. These resources reflect our school’s deep commitment to partnering with families and making an OCS education accessible to those who qualify.

How It Works

We partner with an independent service called FACTS Financial Aid Management to ensure an objective, confidential, and fair process. FACTS reviews your financial information and gives us a recommendation based on need. Using that information, our team determines your tuition assistance award based on two things:

  • Your family’s demonstrated financial need
  • The availability of tuition assistance funds

What to Expect

  • The tuition assistance application opens December 1 for the following school year.
  • Families apply through FACTS Financial Aid Management using a secure online platform.
  • There is a $45 application fee.
  • A new application must be submitted each year to be considered.

You can apply for tuition assistance before, during, or after completing your child’s application for admission. Awards are granted on a rolling basis, so we encourage families to apply as early as possible.
