A Simpler Re-Enrollment Process for OCS Families
Beginning with the 2027–28 school year, Oakland Christian School will transition to Continuous Enrollment.
Continuous Enrollment means that once your student is enrolled at OCS, you will no longer need to complete a full re-enrollment process every year. Instead, your student's enrollment will automatically continue from year to year unless you let us know that your family will not be returning.
The 2027–28 school year will be our transition year, which means all current families will need to take one final enrollment action.
Why Is OCS Moving to Continuous Enrollment?
For most OCS families, the expectation is that their children will return to OCS each year. Continuous Enrollment reflects that expectation while reducing the paperwork families need to complete during the enrollment process each year.
Continuous Enrollment also helps OCS:
- Reduce annual paperwork for returning families.
- Provide families with one less form and deadline to remember.
- More accurately anticipate class sizes and staffing needs.
- Know sooner when space may be available for new students.
- Plan responsibly for the upcoming school year.
Transitioning to Continuous Enrollment
What Do I Need to Do for the 2027–28 School Year?
Every current OCS family will need to choose one of the following:
➤ If your student is returning for 2027–28:
- Complete the 2027–28 Continuous Enrollment Form through FACTS by February 22, 2027.
- As in previous years, each family will receive an email from OCS with instructions on how to log in to the FACTS Family Portal and complete re-enrollment. This year's re-enrollment form is the Continuous Enrollment Agreement.
➤ If your student is not returning for 2027–28:
- Complete the Opt-Out Form by February 22, 2027. If you submit the Opt-Out Form after February 22 and before making your first tuition payment in May, a $750 late-withdrawal fee per student will apply.
- Submitting the Opt-Out Form lets OCS know that your student will not be returning and helps us accurately plan for class sizes, staffing, and available enrollment space.
- Once you submit the Opt-Out Form, your student's spot for the 2027-28 school year will no longer be reserved.

Beginning with the 2028–29 School Year
Returning families will no longer complete an annual re-enrollment form.
Your student's enrollment will automatically continue each year unless you submit the Opt-Out Form by the annual deadline.
How Continuous Enrollment Works
Once your family completes the Continuous Enrollment Agreement:
- Your student's enrollment at OCS will continue automatically each year.
- You will no longer need to complete an annual re-enrollment form.
- OCS will communicate tuition, fees, important dates, and the annual opt-out deadline before the upcoming school year, typically at the Annual State of the School meeting.
- If your student will not be returning, you will submit the Opt-Out Form by the published deadline.
- If you do not submit an opt-out form by the deadline, your student will remain enrolled for the following school year and applicable withdrawal policies will apply if you withdraw after the deadline.
Important Dates & Withdrawal Policy
Each year, OCS will provide families with the upcoming school year's tuition and fees and clearly communicate the opt-out deadline.
Families who know their student will not be returning for the next school year should submit the Opt-Out Form by the deadline.
- By the opt-out deadline: Families may opt out of enrollment for the upcoming school year with no late-withdrawal fee. The opt-out deadline for the 2027-28 school year is February 22, 2027.
- After the opt-out deadline and before the first May tuition payment has been made: If a student is withdrawn during this period, a $750 late-withdrawal fee per student will be charged.
- Once the first May tuition payment has been made: The $750 late-withdrawal fee no longer applies. Instead, the school's regular Tuition Withdrawal & Refund Policy applies. Families are responsible for tuition paid or due through the month in which the student withdraws, including the summer tuition months of May, June, July, and August. A family will not be responsible for both the $750 late-withdrawal fee and tuition under the regular withdrawal policy for the same withdrawal.
These deadlines allow OCS to make important commitments for the upcoming school year, including staffing, class sections, curriculum, and other planning based on expected enrollment.
