Check out our summer learning resources HERE. At Oakland Christian, we want students to enjoy a refreshing summer while also staying engaged and prepared for the year ahead. Research shows that students can lose ground over long breaks, especially in reading and math. A little consistent practice over the summer helps students retain what they've learned and start the new school year with confidence.
Elementary (Entering K-5th): Summer learning is recommended, not required.
Secondary Students (Entering 6th–12th Grade): Summer learning is required and will count toward students’ first-quarter grades.

Help us Welcome New Families to OCS!
At Oakland Christian, one of our greatest strengths is how our community cares for new families from the very beginning.
As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we are actively seeking two groups of parents for our F.A.N. (Family Ambassador Network) Program:
- Welcome Team volunteers to deliver yard signs in August
- Family Mentor Team members to be paired with 1–3 new families throughout the year
Participants earn Family Service Hours while helping build a strong sense of belonging at OCS. If you’re interested or would like more information, we’d love to hear from you!

Used Uniform Sale - Save the Date!
Please mark your calendars and join us for the Used Uniform Sale on Tuesday, June 30th, from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM in the OCS Multipurpose Room. This is a great opportunity to purchase gently used OCS uniforms for the upcoming school year, as well as sell uniforms your children have outgrown.
Sellers, please note: Only OCS-approved uniform attire will be accepted for the sale. Old logo items may not be sold. If you are bringing in uniforms to sell, please follow the steps below:
-Please label each item with your last name and the price using masking tape only. Other types of tape may fall off or leave marks on the clothing. If the price or name is missing, we cannot ensure that you will receive payment for the sale.
-Please complete and turn in the Used Uniform Log with your items. Items may be dropped off during the week of June 22–26.
-The Used Uniform Log paperwork must accompany all items.

Join us for the annual Lancer Cup Golf Outing on September 14, 2026! This exciting day on the course is a great opportunity to support Oakland Christian athletics while enjoying golf, fellowship, and friendly competition. Whether you are registering as an individual golfer, foursome, sponsor, or supporter, your participation helps invest in our student-athletes and athletic programs. Gather your team and make plans to be part of a great tradition. Registration is now open, we look forward to seeing you at the 2026 Lancer Cup!

OCS Summer Camps offer a fun, structured way for children to learn, explore, and build friendships throughout the summer. With options ranging from athletics to the arts, campers can pursue their interests while trying something new in a supportive environment.
Camps run from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM and are available for a wide range of ages. Before- and after-care is available for most camps.

Clothes Bin Donations
Support our school and the environment by donating to the green Clothes Bin®, located in the circle lot on the north end of campus!
Recycling textiles keeps millions of pounds of clothing and household items out of landfills, conserves resources, and reduces pollution. You can drop off clothing (any condition), shoes, and household textiles like blankets, towels, and sheets.
Every contribution supports NHS, NJHS, and Student Council!

Purchase your copy of Historias desdichas IV
Support a meaningful cause by purchasing the newest release, Historias desdichas IV (Untold Stories IV), available for $10. This latest edition was written by Alexa Daulton, Faith Denno, Morgan Dowdell, Alex Favaro, Aaron Frasa, Mia Gurney, Tyler Morrissey, and Señora Frasa. Stop by outside Señora Frasa’s room to pick up a copy or two and celebrate the God who is redeeming lives around the world—including our own.
Additional copies of Historias desdichas I–III are also available for any donation amount. All proceeds support our Dominican Mission and our sister school, Manantial de Vida, in Juan Tomás, República Dominicana.

As we continue to enhance and beautify our campus, we are excited to offer the opportunity to sponsor a tree on our school grounds through the OCS Commemorative Tree Campaign. This is a meaningful way for individuals, families, and organizations to honor someone special, remember a loved one, express gratitude, or celebrate a milestone.
All honorees will be recognized on a commemorative plaque displayed on campus, creating a lasting tribute within our community.

Kroger Community Rewards
Oakland Christian's PTF has joined with Kroger as a Community Rewards Partner. Each time you use your registered Kroger card, Kroger will donate a portion of your bill to the OCS PTF, with no cost to you! This is an easy, no-cost way to help support the PTF.
