Friends, Romans, Countrymen, lend me your---wait, wrong play:
November 7th and 8th @ 7:00 PM in the MP. Get your tickets HERE
Oakland Christian School Theatre is thrilled to announce our first ever performance of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream! Perfect for the whole family and audience members of all ages! Join us for not one but TWO and a HALF plays! In the first, follow the Wood-ward journeys of young lovers Demetrius, Helena, Hermia, and Lysander, fleeing the oppressive tyranny of an overbearing father. In the second, spy the rude mechanicals as they rehearse a farcical play to be performed on the evening of the Duke's wedding. A rollicking hoot at every turn, you'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll wish for an epilogue! Please come and support your OCS community! Note: to emulate the forest feel we will be using general seating on bleachers and around the stage, so please either a cushion or stadium chair.
"The course of true love never did run smooth..." but you'll enjoy every bump along the road!
