Beginning with the 2026–27 school year, Oakland Christian School is using ParentSquare as its official communication platform for school families. ParentSquare brings school and classroom communication together in one place, making it easier to stay informed and connected.

Parents have been invited to join ParentSquare. If you have not yet accepted your invitation, please take a moment to do so and make sure your notification preferences are set to your liking. Parents can receive communications by email or through their preferred notification settings, and all school communications can also be accessed through the ParentSquare app or website.

We’d love for you to join us for our Annual Fall Parent Meeting on Thursday, September 17! The evening begins with community worship at 6:45 PM, followed by the meeting at 7:00 PM.

Families who attend may record 2 family service hours (per family).

At the meeting, we will introduce new teachers and staff, introduce our board, hit some highlights from the 2025–26 school year, share our spiritual life theme for the year, and more! 

(Senior Parent Meeting will be just prior at 6 PM in the Band Room.)

Families often turn to online reviews when they’re getting to know a school, and hearing from another OCS family can be really helpful. If you’ve had a good experience at Oakland Christian, we’d love for you to share a little about it. Your perspective can give prospective families a better feel for our school and what it’s like to be part of the OCS community.

Participating is easy! Use our Sign-Up Genius to choose up to four times to post a review over the next several months. Each completed review counts as one Family Service Hour. You'll receive a reminder when it’s time to post.

You’re invited to the Barnyard Boogie! Join us for a fun-filled evening at Upland Hills Farms with the whole OCS community! Enjoy food trucks, hayrides, a DJ, and plenty of time to enjoy the farm together.

Where: Upland Hills Farm
Cost: $9 per person | Children under 2 are free

This is an all-school event sponsored by the PTF! Please note that this is not a drop-off event—parents or guardians are required to supervise their children throughout the evening. We can’t wait to see you there!

Recycling textiles keeps millions of pounds of clothing and household items out of landfills, conserves resources, and reduces pollution. You can drop off clothing (any condition), shoes, and household textiles like blankets, towels, and sheets.

Every contribution supports NHS, NJHS, and Student Council!

As we continue to enhance and beautify our campus, we are excited to offer the opportunity to sponsor a tree on our school grounds through the OCS Commemorative Tree Campaign. This is a meaningful way for individuals, families, and organizations to honor someone special, remember a loved one, express gratitude, or celebrate a milestone.

All honorees will be recognized on a commemorative plaque displayed on campus, creating a lasting tribute within our community.
